Title: rear bumper help needed
Post by: Ramblin MAn on August 20, 2009, 11:03:17 AM
The rear bumper on my car is loose on the right side up by the wheel well. I've looked at the diagrams I have available to me but I can't get any detail from them. Can anyone tell me, preferably with a picture or two, how the bumper is kept in place by the wheel wells? I can see there is some kind of bracket in there but thats it.

Which model and year car?  Mine is a 91 318ic and the rear bumper slides into a bracket on each side.

Just a bracket.  you just have to make sure you put the bumper on even when you are installing.  It is good to have a friend help you line it up.

91 iS. I guess I'll just unbolt it and slide it back then to see what the issue is.
