Title: M42's rock!!
Post by: 2002maniac on July 30, 2006, 10:22:48 PM
While I have had my core motor apart for the last few weeks I have been consistently amazed by the build quality and cool features.

I must say that the M42 oil pump is the coolest thing I have seen in a while!

The head casting with cams and lifters removed is almost art.

The block also looks pretty mean bored out to 86.36mm ;)

Hell ya, the best motor ever put in an E30 hands down. Nothing beats BMW early engineering, their new cars suck!
