The Car doesnt misfire at mid RPMS anymore, but still bogs down when cold.
WTF

Did we try swapping the AFM from my car? I don't remember. Bad AFM can have weird symptoms. At least you eliminated the ignition system.

Car DOES STILL misfire at mid RPMS. WUT is going on

I have an AFM for sale in Vacaville, 20 mins away.

cam sensor ?
I just ordered all the sstuff to do a cop conversion, so this thread caught my eye
I just finsihed a battle with a mid range stutter.and it seemed like it was bogging down, yet the stomp test showed no codes !!. stutter would come on about 3k up to about 4k. would mostly notice when held at those rpms, crusing the freeway, not showing up going through them in a fast upshifting drive
on antoehr froum it was suggested the afm, or the crank sensor , or the cam sensor. luckily I had spares of each.
replaced the cam and crank sensor as a pair, problem gone
then a few days later when I had more time, started switching one at a time, so I could see which was really the bad one,( and trash the dead one) started at the top ( cam)
did nto have to test any further
my engine (some suggested from tjts threads) remove throttle heater and hoses, 4 pintle injectors, volvo fan, chipped, ac delete, ps delete, magnaflow mufler

I already got a spare working one :/

Next time I hit up a junkyard, I'll definitely pick up a Cam sensor.
-
Mine still throws this code too, but my symptoms are gone.
It's really easy to test the crank and cam sensors with a multimeter.

really ?
are you just checking continuity or a specific number....can you explain so I can see if my others are within limits too
and I still find it interesting, that I had a cam sensor go bad, and not have it show up on the codes

I can't remember what the specific resistance spec are for each, but they're listed in the Bentley. Just use a multimeter on the connectors
