I got the sample today from e30cabrio (BIG thank you!). Colors are as requested, and I like it. I think this is our winner. My only request would be that there be an inside version of this. The exterior one is fine, but I personally think interior ones look cleaner. If it is cost effective, then maybe we can have 2 versions for the tinted people.
Anyway, pics.

Nice & small so as not to be too conspicuous, although blue and red are directly contrasting colors! I guess us BrilliantRot folks will get more notice with this. I bet it looks super slick on a Sterlingsilber car, or Alpinweiss.
I am about to head out the door to spend my weekend out of town. I will have my laptop and will try to contact e30cabrio and discuss money and versions. Cheers all!

Once all ordering stuff is finalized, this thread goes away & gets replaced with an ordering-related one.
-
looks even better than expected mate!!!! love the roundel dot detail, nice work!!!!
-
is this thing short enough for those of us that got suckered into 4drs?
-
Love it. When are we looking at getting these out?
-
Question. Will these stick to outside of the window? I live in Florida and we tint the windows. Put me down for 2 regardless.
-
This one is outside, and it seems to have pretty sturdy adhesive. Lol are you a fan of The Office?
It is plenty small to fit on a 4-door as well.
I am about to head out for a day of hiking & cliff jumping (been looking forward to this for a looong time, the rivers were too full last year to do it much safely!). I will try to get some stuff done for this today, but chances are I will be coming back & having a number of Guinnesses with some old college buddies. I WILL take care of this, worry not!

The Office is great. Enjoy the Guiness. Having a couple of Becks before the 16.5 hour Auto Train ride. BTW, what about the sticker being used a windshield banner???
-
Very tasteful. I'd gladly sport a pair of these on my bimmer! :)
-
On the auto train I thought of something. What about using the M (with the slanted left leg) and the M colors?
Kinda like this:

I will make a proto-type and post a pic as soon as I get some sleep.

Looking good! Can't wait to get them in.

I think bmwman91 would rather stick to a uniform design, and people already decided that the one that is already cut be the one to sport.
If bmwman91 is okay with it, I can make you a one-off and it won't cost you much more than these. I must absolutely have permission from bmwman91 though, because I respect one's property.
Although I could answer other questions about the sticker, I already PM'd bmwman91 the answers to the questions you guys asked, so I'll wait for him to post them in order to not be redundant.
-
I can totally respect that. Just throwing ideas out. I look forward to production.

Well, I want to get the curerent ones distributed for the time-being. The colors used are the club's colors, and it certainly took long enough just to agree to the current design! Let's enjoy the current ones, and in a few months if there is still interest we can revisit the topic. Nothing is set in stone forever, but for now let's use what we have and promote the club colors.
This thread is now done. The new sticky will have all the ordering information you need. Good work folks, we have a good thing going here!
"M" colors?!? Sheesh, don't be acting like you wish we drove M3's or something! They did not even get coil-per-cylinder ignition! Tsk tsk, lowering ourselves to the S14 level...shame shame! Lol, good suggestion anyway, maybe in the future.
