Title: Alternator issue

My car has been having an issue charging after I start it.  Then usually after revving above 4000 rpm the alternator kicks and and charges regardless of RPM.  I changed the voltage regulator and that did not solve the problem.  Are there any known issues like this for the alternators on these motors?

You can take the alternator off and take it to autozone and they can test it out.
