Title: 318i-325i H&R Sport Springs Question.
Post by: mtle30 on July 15, 2009, 08:16:13 PM
Hey, I have a quick question, I have a 91 318i and i found a set of h&r sport springs for sale for $100. The seller says they are for a 325i only. the front are grey and the rear are red color, but both springs have the same part# 50406.
Will these fit my car? and also why are the colors different from front and back?
Thanks for the input guys.

Dave,

Mtle30-I've seen these springs go from $247 down to $209, so my first question would be--why $100 (this alone would cause the "PROOF" to hold the seller suspect) my second question would be to the seller--why are they two different colors, because on the sites that i've searched their only one color(matching).  Now according to TunerMotorsport that part# fits.

FYI the correct H&R part number for 318is springs is 50404:

Different color springs front & rear would be a big red flag for me.

Just came across this in another thread... 50404 vs. 50406

I'm trying to decide between the two.

They will definitely fit. Not sure why he said they're for a 325 only. I run the 325 H&R Sports on my car and love them.
