Post by: Serge on July 02, 2009, 12:55:09 AM
Hi there could someone please tell me whether the big red wire hanging from the engine loom that goes into the alternator also joins up to the starter? also the other two wires that join up to the starter does it matter which goes where? thanks. Serge

B+ can go to the + on the battery, or on the other end, at the starter (big red wire).

Ground the alt housing to ground on the engine (medium brown wire).

D+ is the rectangular plug (small blue wire).

Brown is usually ground, unless somebody added a wire.
