I have stripped my old M42 apart and now considering options to build it up again.
I have more or less decided to bore out from 84mm to 86mm. The question now is that what are the options for head gaskets. Read somewhere that the M44 head gasket can be used as it's measured at 86mm. Can anyone confirm this?
Anyone here using aftermarket head gasket?

I think the best bet would be to contact Vac Motorsports as they have options for custom-bore M42/44 MLS head gaskets.
