hi everybody, this evening coming home with my car was raining and i did some drifts, nothing special, just few seconds to 6000rpm... the problem is that then on my oil temp gauge i saw the temperature was gone up bouncing from 102 to 107 °C, then after a few minutes, when i was going very slow the oil goes up to 120°C...
normally in highway at 3500rpm is stable at 100°C, and the gauge is not bkoken because when the oil comes hot the pressure gots down (i have also a pressure gauge). It's lotta strange because the water temp is good in both sides of the engine (approx 90°C?
anyone got ideas?

Doesn't sound too out of the ordinary, my temp sits around 180*F once its good and warmed up and I'm cruising, and will go up to almost 240*F when I'm getting on it hard.

well it's not ordinary, because the car didn't do it before! even when i pulled hard it never goes up to 115°C (like the 240°F you said) , so i'm worried because yesterday i don't get that hard, just a few times to 6000rpm!
what i wanna know is why the oil goes that hot! is a main bearings or a piston rings problem? if so it's very very bad

I should slap a gauge on the car...I have not idea what temp it gets to, but 120 DegC doesn't seem too high.

i've turned on the car just now, it shows 40°C at a real temp of 23°C... the gauge is totally gone! maybe the oil pressure was a bit low but not low enought to justify 120°! that has been my mistake!
