Title: whats wrong with this picture??

I am obviosly in need of a hose replacement.  What is the hose that i am missing, and what do i need to buy to replace it?  Do i need an OEM hose or will a generic autozone hose work?

 Is there something that should connect to the pink circle?

Its just the tip of the iceberg. See the thread in my signature. The pink circle is fine. Its a 1 way valve.
