Where'd you get the top one?
And forget about the bottom one...too pricey.
-
The top ones were a custom build (not by me or anyone I know personally), I'm not sure if anything similar is sold online. May just have to build your own. Search around - that's all I did.
-
yea the top one is exactly what i want how did you get it.....but the one i want is for only 3 gauges .....one 52mm and 2 60mm....from left to right AFR guage 52mm and the other 2 is 60mm for the oil and water temp....if i have to custom make one myself what are the procedure and materials ima have to aquire

I actually really, really like the second one, to be honest. However, it says Alpina on it...and it's still way too early in the morning for my heart to take a shock like finding out how much it costs.

That is utter and absolute gold plated monkey shit expensive. Holy hell, who would pay upwards of two grand to have 4 little digital readouts in their center vents?

+1, I would like to have one but I could buy another E30 for that price.

Expect to pay anywhere from 750 - 850 Euros, depending on how complete it is, and the condition of the gauge its self- provided you can find one.

Now that's what I call a thread resurrection! ;)
Alpina bits are always incredibly overpriced (I'm sure they could care less about my opinion, eh?). At least they engineered that vent to permit a bit of airflow...but it's very clear to me that Alpina doesn't do much testing in the US. That center vent is an absolute necessity south of the Mason-Dixon line.

I know it was quite the resurrection of a thread, buuuuuut...I figured someone would read my first hand knowledge of the Alpina gauge and take it for what it's worth. A close friend has two of those things, and while it's pretty cool (especially how old it is), there are other options for a fraction of the costs. I have come close to buying two of them myself, but I bailed after weighing the costs of the item; its crazy to pay that much for a gauge, but that is my own opinion. I would much rather put that 750-850 euros toward an actual Alpina, which do pop up from time to time in Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland. The last one I watched sold for 5800 euro and it was in pretty fair shape. I also watched an E30 320is with 80k original km sell for 8,900 euro. I wanted to jump on that one.
Anyhow: Alpina digital gauge is expensive and rare.
