This might be just a matter of personal taste, but I think it´s a wicked mod for the e30. Has anybody done it? I´ve seen a kit that can be used fot this

but seems a little too pricey. Also, it uses the factory motor, which doesn´t make a lot of sense to me. There´s gotta be a better and probably cheaper way....I´m thinking on the system used on rear window wiper cars. Any ideas?

Mate I would love to do this but cant aford the price so I am trying to find a DIY for it

I saw that other website (mortillaro customs) and the price is much less, yes, but I´m still not convinced by the system. That might be the only thing Mercedes-Benz has better than BMW.
Carlos, do you have wipers on your headlights? Cool!

I did mate that was on my 320i I now have a 318is E30:D

I have done this conversion on many cars myself...
its not real hard to do... you need to take of the spindle or crank... (not sure of the propper english word for it) of the wiper motor, cut it in two and lengthen it by aprox 1 cm
mount it back and then align your wiper

I don´t think I´m following you. I got a rear wiper from a volvo the other day at the junkyard, I think I´ll make it work, but if you did it already I could use some guidance. Can you be more specific about how you did it?

I had a custom made one on my DD, didn't work too well

I thought the speed of the wiper would depend on the voltage applied to its motor, provided it has that multi-speed ability
