Title: What is the standard size of the spark plug wires?
Post by: dude8383 on July 14, 2006, 11:37:40 AM
is it 7mm or 8.5mm?

I just ordered a set of 8.5mm magnecor wires...will this be fine for my car? Thumper is running the same set of wires i just want to 100% sure these will work with no electrical problems. I dont want to be pumping too much electricity into the plugs.

The only bad part of bigger wires is trying to fit them in the plug wire guides. 8.5mm Magnecors represent!! :D

I have a set I just put on mine they work great but like Euro Nation said they are a little long and will not fit in the guides but other than that I am very happy with them and they were cheeper than stock ones

werd...i posted the question above because i got the plugs today and i was trying to fit them into the wires...BUT the plug wasn't fitting!! so i thought bma sent me the wrong plugs..turns out the cap from the old spark plug got stuck in the wire.
