Wondering if anyone out there has tried one of these dash covers? Do they look like crap, are they worth the $$?
-
the carpet one?
-
No the black molded plastic one.
-
they look decent, only noticable when you know what your looking for.
i rode in a vert that had one, it stayed on with no problems with the top down at 80+ mph
good product, i'd recomend a new dash, but the covers aren't a bad idea for the money. ;)

Don't have the time or experience to replace the dash. There are only 2 small cracks right near the windshield, so you can barley see them. I don't want to junk this car up with anything shady. Thanks for the input, ill check the dash cover out.:D

Couldn't find on their web site. Do they make for E30?
-
They sure do. http://www.bavauto.com/lview.asp?imgfile=assets/imglib500/21325.jpg
Go to interior> accessories interior> dash covers. Should be there for a 91 318is.

Thanks. Couldn't find it first time around.

No problem

I installed a Bav Auto dash cover about four months ago. They're okay -- but they don't work miracles. You can tell it's a cover. The fit is not perfect. If you have only a few minor cracks, don't go this route -- just live with it or if you're really anal, replace the dash. If your dash is like mine -- with several lengthy, pronounced cracks -- the dash cover is a quick, easy, cheap improvement.

Yeah my dash isn't bad at all, there are two tiny cracks near the windshield. I can live with it for now. Any pics of the installed dash cover? No biggie, just curious.
