will any e30 hub work or will i need something 318is 91 specific?

you will need to space out any non-airbag wheel and have a spacer washer under the nut.

im confused i have an airbag i believe

You need an e30 hub--it's the same hub for airbag and non-airbag cars.

You will also need a second steering wheel spacer, from a non-airbag car. Install one underneath the steering wheel and one above when installing.
