Title: auto picture resizer
Post by: Asserti on April 26, 2009, 11:03:19 AM
Most of the boards I visit have an automatic picture resizer. is it possible to install it on this board too?

I find it very usefull and almost never resize my pictures before uploading them.

Why can I not upload pics even when they are with in the required limits?
Very frustrating!
Some use sites like photo-bucket but, there should not be a need for an extra step.
If I am doing something wrong could someone please, help.

Thanks,
Frank

Maximum File Size per Picture                             97.7 KB
Maximum Picture Dimensions                             600 by 600 Pixels
Pictures will be automatically resized to fit within these constraints if possible. However, you may receive better results by doing it manually.

That's what it says on the picture uploader screen.  I've never tried to let the site resize my pictures automatically so I'm not sure how well it works.
Frank, are you sure the files you are trying to upload are below the maximum size and dimensions?

I've tried uploading photo's but I can't get it to work at all, it always says upload failed no matter what size I use. :(

Place your pic's in your desktop and go to image, after right clicking the prefered picture and then click on stretch/skew.
