I've been searching for months but there dosenst seem to be a chip for my  dme #0261 203  590.Mark D wont make them either....anyone can help?in Europe perhaps??HELP!

no idea. do you have a randomly different e36 m42 ecu? if so, why not swap to an ecu that can be chipped.

can that be done??wont it mess up, due to the different wiring harness and ancillaries?heard of wiring harness burning stories....

If you can read your stock chip and send me a file, I'll try to make you a chip.

I have the same problem. you have an E36 318ti ECU like me :D
it's a problem i know. and my solution atm is to find a n E36 318iS ECU and do a direct swap.

you should do that same...

wont they have different configurations wth the ews wiring and all??would that b a problem,...please let me know if u have experimented successfully.

The EWS is the main problem. I've had to forgoe any attempts to put a chip in for now, just because i need to get the EPROM off the original, and not many people can do that where i am.

it's not as easy as a straight swap. found that out the hard way.

If you can source a 990 ECU, I have an awesome (and rare) Schatz & Krum performance chip for the non EWS ECU (not ECU 282, that is 1/95 and up with EWS2).

There shouldn't be anything about the Ti ECU that makes it unable to chip. I know for a fact that Tuner sells a chip, they don't specifically say Ti but it's the same thing. I have one in my car.

Hey Yo! It's a ece/euro dme dude. You gotta find it on ebay UK. There will be up for listing once a while. By the way, what's wrong w/ it. If you want it I got one as you see up here :)

OK! got you. I am looking for that too man. If I found a great deal I will let you know. It's to bad there is no something like MarkD or dinain or jim comforti out there for euro dme though. :(
