Hey guys.....

I am building a stroker motor for my car, I have a spare M42 motor with 191oookm and a M44 motor with all the wiring (MAF :) ) and am looking for pistons to use.  Was hoping to find some s52 pistons at a good price, but no luck in finding them so far.

My question is     What pistons can I use with no alterations to the piston in place of the S52 pitson to get a 2l stroker?

This car is my daily driver too (1000km a week) and not looking for a "loose" fit.

I am using the block from the m42, and the crank from the m44, and was hoping for the s52 size pistons, which should give me the 2.0l stroker.   just need to find some pistons of the same size and quality so seeing what others have sugested

I'm running m44 internals with m44 2nd overbore pistons and I'm right at 2.0l, and yes it is a daily driver and I drive it hard every day.

did you have to shave the m44 pistons or bore the cyl out?

bore out the block, i also decked the head

I thought the M44 pistons and the M42 pistons were the same bore, but the M44 ones were taller?

if you use S50 pistons(86mm) instead of S52 you get 1952cc.
4 S52 pistons with 45,000kms on ebay:
