Squealing noise when idling, increases when clutch is depressed.

sounds like a throw out/release bearing to me.

yeh thats thrust bearing. might have even damaged a few fingers on the pressure plate by the sounds of it. they usually make that noise when they snap a few or bend them unevenly. i would get it looked at pretty quick.
