Title: m42 max stock horsepower?

I searched max HP with no answer. I was wondering what kind of HP the bottom end and top end can handle stock. Im guessing at least 300, so if anyone knows for sure Id appreciate the info, thanks.

what the hell is max stock horsepower? it came from the factory with 136hp...that is the maximum that it had when it left the factory.

you should probably spread your search out a bit more. look in the turbo section to see what these motors can handle before being built up.

you're going to have a really hard time getting this motor up to 300 hp with "stock" components.
