Title: 24V swap?

Hi fellas!
can someone shed some light over my ignorance? which 24V engines will fit in an E30's bay? what are the issues related to fittment, electronics, transmission, etc: I never thought of swapping another engine in, but with so many (more powerful, may I add) options to the m42 out there, I think is a viable option. Also, I´m not sure which year/model do some of these engines come with. Thanks!

m50 is a good cheap swap.
