I bought this off Ebay for $19 shipped. It took all about 2 minutes to install. it actually took longer for me to jack up my car then to install this thing. so far it works great. no problems whatsoever.

Not notchy or anything?

I made a few of this adapters for the group over here... It works great...
better to put in spring washer though.. Mine came loose once but no problem since I included a spring washer..

mind adding a link for a 19$ SS?

What does it do - just adjust the point where the bottom of the lever mates to the shift arm?

I used locktight; do you think that will work?

Yes that exactly right. It shortens the throw without shorting the height

It is basically the same thing as a real short shifter and with any short throw shifter there will be some notchynes. However, it's not as bad as some other short shifters I’ve felt.
