btw that 360 diesel mower cost 9.5 times what the car did lol
-
that looks EXACTLY how mine did when i first got it.
-
this one is by far in the best shape pf my 3. this was a one owner car that was garage kept.
-
nice, just throw a magnaflow, with no cat, dinan chip, aem cold air intake kit, 4.10LSD, and you'll have a car that'll put a very big smile on your face EVERYTIME it goes past 6700rpms. ;)
-
its getting ready to go on the rack when i get some things out the door at my shop. its got a god awefull rattle from 2k-4k rpms. its that damn center heat sheild rattling. i gotta fix that and its getting a new exhaust. my plan is ditch the cat,2.5in stainless back to a glasspack for a resonator then to a magnaflow. cold air kit is being built. and im still shopping for a chip.
and ofcoruse the valve cover and intake is gonna be pulled and cleaned and painted. as well as clean up that mangle of hoses under the intake.
-
Looks like a great platform to start with, and sounds like you've got some healthy plans for it
-
its a great running car. dosnt use any oil. has tons of power allready, will fry the tires on dry pavement. ive got a few small things to do. needs a stereo. shifter has some slop in it. im gonna change the bushings and stuff and reshape the lever to my likings. all in all its the best $1000 ive ever spent.,but dont tell my wife that lol

i spend around 60$ for my CAI (AEM dry-flow FTW)
and i spend 72$ (with shippng) for my dinan chip on ebay (lol and that ripped out my small cased 4.10 )
and right now, mine is straight piped to a dynomax super turbo muffler, sounds great!!!, screw the glasspack.
-
my header was finished up today. 2 1/2in tubes then steps up to 3in at the collector. the collector is long. 2 ports, evac port for crankcase gasses(if i chose to run the hose) and a bung for the O2 sensor. for a muffler ive been looking at borlas. trying to keep the whole system stainless.
after i get the exhaust done its time for new shocks and springs, motor mounts and trans mounts. then i might build a front and rear strut tower braces to tie the body. hotter coils from bav autosport will be in tomorow and ive got a set of volvo wires for it.
-
hotter coils don't do shit.
i bought them, and it felt like a slight tune up, definitly not worth it.
slam it, chip it, get some new wheels, black the windows out, iS lip,CAI.
call it a day.
-
a couple guys from work got em for me. im getting my rims in a few weeks. stock weaves. i like the looks. im gonna drop it about a inch. nothing to radical. still havnt decided on a chip yet. markD or dinan is looking promising. id like to do away with that rubber boot between the TB and MAF. mabe do up a aluminium tube for there.
-
yea, i have some weave's, but they have my track tires on them.
i just run bottle caps that i blacked out.
you should check my member profile, i just uploaded some new pix today of my car after i detailed it. ;)
-
cool ill have to check that out. i allways liked the weaves. they just look plain good on a e30.
-
ya, mine are gunmetal'd
-
whats on the drivers side corner of your hood? is that a german flag?
-
yea man.
-
looks cool. my valve cover and intake are gonna be painted in the german flag when i get time and or pull the spares from my parts car to do it.
-
thats whats up.
i used vinyl electrical tape to make mine. ;)
-
lol i never would have guessed vinyl tape. looks good
-
thanks dude.
walmart ftw ;)
-
ive got a IS lip and m3 style spoiler for it as well as the sunroof visor. those will go on soon as i can find some sterling silber metelic paint. sunroof visor is gonna be left black,is lip is ready to go on and i gotta find paint and paint the spoiler.
-
spray paint it semi-flat black.
its really easy to paint well with that shade.
and i'd ditch the sun-roof bubble...mine had one, but i took it off because it looked like shit on my car and it whistled going down the road.
-
my other 2 have the visor and i kinda miss it on this one. lol
if i can get the color close enough im gonna paint the spoiler. to be honest the whole car needs to be repainted. good thing about that silver is it hides fine scratches pretty damn well
-
damn right, mine looks good but up close, its scratched all to shit.
-
ive rubbed out alot of the fine scratches. there is a few chips on the lip of the hood. but christ what do you expect from a car that was built in november 1990 and has over 200k miles on it lol
-
yea, i'm looking at the kosei k1's for wheels right now, it's between hose and the borbet a's or t's.
you should check them out.
-
i would like a new set of rims for my 2door. recomend a site??
