Title: any difference with...
Post by: bme30 on March 08, 2009, 07:01:06 PM
swaping a 95 318 obd1 ecm instead of my stock 1991 318 ecm?  would the motor run the same or would it be more efficient?

thanks

I don't think you can just swap the DME's...  The harnesses and some other parts/sensors vary from vehicle to vehicle, especially the difference between years...

correct.

the e36 m42 has knock sensors, and a variable length intake, those are the two main differences as far as that goes.

Though I doubt it would be any more efficient
