I have heard of people finding the M44 flywheel and getting them shaved down...(lightened)

I thought the 323 Flywheel, and clutch kit was the most popular upgrade? Thats what I was planning on doing, it still cuts the weight of the dual mass m42 flywheel in half. And then you get the benefit of having a clutch that was made for the power of a 6 cylinder.

I did UUC Stage 1:

11.5# Flywheel
E34M5 Clutch
E36M3 Pressure Plate
E36M3 Slave Cylinder

Couldn't be happier! It may rattle once in awhile, and often when the A/C is on, but I don't care, it was worth every penny.

I think to buy that UUC 11.5# Stage 1 Flywheel kit.
Do that really help to 0-100kmh time? How much..?
How about the Tdc, do this "aftermarket" flywheels have that "Tdc hole"?

Anybody have videos 318is with lightweight flyweel!

My car is 1994 e36 318is with a/c and dualmass flywheel:mad:

Sorry my bad English:(

Kit is great. Grabs nice when your going.

I'm sure it helped some, never really noticed, it just made the engine rev much nicer for sure. It rattles, but I don't really care. It's only really bad when the A/C is on on hot hot days.
