Title: COP on E36 318is
Post by: halcrontech on February 22, 2009, 08:31:28 PM
Hi! May I know if its possible to install the COP kit for E36 318is? Cause I have search around an all the projects are meant for E30 instead of E36.

Since both E30 and E36 are using M42, is it possible to install the kit onto E36?

Thanks!

If you have a later M42 E36 (94+) then no.

Unless you really want to cut into your harness, it is not plug and play like for E30's.

I know I won't cut into my harness for it. Dang shame too, I would have loved to have COP kit on my E36.

Oh OK. Then how about early E36s? Cause mine is a 04/92 318is.

Yes you can, even on the later models it can be done without cutting up the harness.
