Title: Camshaft tool specs

can anyone with the cam locking tool and pin post the dimensions??? or someone that has the camshaft squares availible post the size of those squares along with the distance between then???

Read this in some thread and I'm trying it out.  Seems like it works fine.

Put a crescent wrench on each cam square, cross the handles and clamp with some vise grips.  I put some blue threadlocker on the wrenches for good measure.

thanks for the tip! will save a $hitload of ca$h!  I know that it is possible to replace the flywheel pin with a bolt... but not sure which one?

Flywheel pin is 8mm diameter and something like a few inches long.  Any sufficiently strong metal rod that is the right diameter and length will work.  I'm using a rod out of the trunk tool kit, but people have used a drill bit or a punch.  Good luck, just make sure whatever you're using is doing its job properly.
