Hello, :D
i've got some problems. I'm turbochargeing my M43B16 engine and i'm finishing almost but i don't know what should I do with DISA. Can it work properly with boost? No one helped me in Poland, all answers were: remove it. But I don't know can I.
When I finish my project I an describe it here. It is low budget with some strange and original solutions.
Here is link for topic on local forum. I will rewrite it for you on english soon.
Thanks for help:)

OT; sory for my english :o

I would use the e30 intake manifold and leave the Disa disconnected.
Edit, Nevermind I don't know anything about the m43.
-
But does the M42 in e36 have DISA too? I think it has so thats why i am asking here. I saw a few turbocharged e36 I i thought somone could know that.
I forgot about link:

just disconnect the DISA and dont use it.
i have an 1995 M42 in my E30, used with E36 intake mani.
DISA is off, using the shorter wider route of the intake mani. always.
works like charm.

disa must be removed and you must use four extraijectors whit yours two maybe it will works but you will have hi fuel consuption and bad afr-s i tryed that it works but it was no good.

must be removed
that's not good :/ Here I can see removed also all top of the manifold. I'll have to change all cooling pipes, pressure, and relocate throttle body. It is a lot of changes. If I just disconnect pressure pipes which are controlling DISA (like HaNasich said), does it work then? Manually removeing will be the best solution. I know that now, but I need easier way.

an another friend of mine broke his engine becouse of disa some parts from disa mechanism droped down to the valves .

Holy crap, now I know that some modifications can't be avoided. But i had nextsolution in my mind, manifold form M40 can be probably adapted to my M43 engine. Maybe I'll have less complications going that way? And it is also easy and cheaper to buy for me

Ok, today I've removed this rotating flap inside manifold. Do I have to remove all controlls of DISA (pipes, connectors, etc)? Or I can leave it like they are now?

in metalic disa open the side cover remove the buterfly leave tha axle and you are ready (or leave it like that)
in plastic one brake the plastic butterfly and cut the axle that moves the butterfly a lot of people do that here in greece dont desconnect it otherwise you gone run in save mode map
sorry for my english...

But do I have to plug on that thing? It was plugged to throttle body, and it goes to this:

you only run in safe mode if your obd2 or m44 when unpluging the DISA
