Thanx bro!
I got them from autozone, there just red neon strips. it works nice bc the red neon color almost matches all of the amber lighting in bmw's

Your gauge to pedal ratio is far too great.

I have similar lights in my car and i love them. The light is extremely subtle and you really don't notice it much until you or your passenger drop something on the floor in the middle of the night :). I thought they would look tacky at first but i was later pleasantly surprised.

Naww it would be ricey if you used blue.  orange is okay.    That actually looks cool.

I have noticed that interior "accent" lighting is an option in some new vehicles. Basically they add subtle lights under the foot wells and somewhere for the back passengers. If you're looking to ad some light to your interior without it being distracting this is the way to go. I have noticed from looking in my e39 that there are a ton of little orange lights all over the car providing an ambient light that you don't notice until you intentionally cover them with your hand.

Its real simple to do your going to need to go out and buy two red neon tubes about 10in to 12in long. you can get them at autozone or advanced or any popular auto store. Make sure that you buy red neon not red LED the LED is good if u want a deep red color, but the neon comes out more orange like the typical bmw interior lights. What you need to do is find a wire under the dash that gets power when the ignition is turned on. Once you find that out splice the two possitive wires into that and find a good ground to put the negatives to. now when i was looking for the wire i found it under the driver side honestly the only thing is i dont remember what wire it was because i did it a wile ago. Its a pretty simple task. after wireing just screw in the neon tubes under the dash and wate till it gets dark lol.
