I am wondering if 1981 320i H&R springs will fit my 318is.
and,
What do you guys think of the Bavauto "own" springs?
Thanks.:)
-
I don't have any personal experience with the BavAuto springs, but I was "talking" (emailing) a guy there and he said they allow the car to sit low, but with a softer spring rate than most that sit that low (I didn't bother to ask the rates). I lost interest at that point.

nope

Thanks.:)

Hey..
I am looking around at peoples rides to see which springs they are using and how they look on the ride. I came across "rev3limited" website as I was searching the web. Here is a pic of their board members 325.
I hope it is allowed to post other peoples ride pic.
About the pic.
What springs can lower my car like this?
Where can I get those rims?
-
those look like euro weaves from that shot. You would have to find someone on the boards that have some or ebay.de
-
Those cant be euroweaves. Euroweaves dont have that much of a dish.
How about the drop. What springs could get me that drop?
-
The wheels you see are Ronal LS. Do a search here and you will see what they look like with caps. If I'm not mistaken he's running IE stage 3's with Koni's. IIRC, the car is a older model 325is with wider arches, meaning the same setup wouldn't look alike.
-
Thanks.
I know how the Ronal LS look like and that is what i want/will get. It just that in that pic they looked a little different but similar to Ronal LS and I want something a little different than what most people have but I love the clean look of the Euroweaves and the Ronal with the beautifull dish look.
Now, where can I get the IE Stage 3's. What does the name stand for.
I am a new owner of the e30 and trying to learn as much as possible.
Thanks.:)

IE=Ireland Engineering ( http://www.bmw2002.com/ ) They have the IE Stage 3 springs custom made for them by Eibach. Right now they are currently on backorder and have been for a couple months although we are all told they will be in stock very soon.

I don't think those are Ronal LS's. Its pretty clear that there is no weaving. To me they look like Rota Track-Rs:

They are BBS RZ weaves

I found more pictures and they are Ronal LS:D . I really did think they were Rota Track R's. Its just that in that particular pic you cant really see the weave.
I also looked around for what springs people used and what drop it gave them. I think IE stage 3's are too low for city and I dont really like how the rear looks (its too low). Maybee when I start taking it to the track I may want to consider IE's. WHILE H&R Sports look perfect (balanced with front and rear) especially with the Ronals LS's. Just like in the pic I posted.
Am I correct? Do the IE stage 3 lower the most or lower than H&R sports?
here are BBS RZ.

here are BBS RZ.
That's strange. BBS naming 2 different wheels "RZ"
These are the RZ's Im familiar with.
