Hey guys, my car just stopped starting all of a sudden and the fuel system isn't getting any power. I replaced the relays and the computer and there still isn't any power at the fuse in the fuse box. The fuel relay is getting power from battery and the Main relay but no power going through the fuel system. It happened all of a sudden and the car was working fine before that. If I can't figure it out I might rewire the system to a switch like a race car or make a relay system for it as for right now I'm stumped.

Sounds like my problem, just died. No spark, no fuel, no check engine light at all not even when the ignition switch is on. Happened when it was like -5. I can't get a good reading on the crank sensor, yet most of the posts I've come across seemed to mention having a CEL come on.

Oh jeez, not this again. I just went through the whole no start, no fuel fiasco a few days ago, and it wasn't fun. Checking the cps is super easy, just unplug it from its little box near the oil filter canister, top plug is cam sensor, bottom is cps. I'm not exactly sure what the sensors are suppose to put out as far as ohms, but I think the cam sensor was around 1200 and the cps was around 600. I would pull the back seat and 12V directly to the pump leads and make sure that the pump is working properly, make sure it gets fuel all the way to the motor. Besides those sensors, it really couldn't be anything else, bah ha, actually it could be a bazillion things that you will try first then a week later you will realize that the battery is dead. Kidding aside, search for threads about no start issues, find one that seems to match up with your problem and start troubleshooting, you would be amazed at what you can rule out with a multimeter; I sure was.

Checked and the pump is new. No power going to fuse 11, I checked all wiring leading to the fuel relay and the MCU is not sending the relay flip signal, I then replaced the MCU from reading forums on rumors that the MCU is commonly faulty. I'll be checking the CPS in the morning. And if it is, time to start on the mega squirt conversion with the the spare MCU plug, and see how I can use the housing to make it a stock fit:D.

My bet is it is your CPS... VERY COMMON failure on the aged M42's... especially on those that have never had that part replaced. It is not a lifetime part, it needs to be replaced just as spark plug wires would get replaced once aged...
