Ok, I have a 1991 318i. Finding a manual is nearly impossible for the '91... Fine, I have worked around that thanks to this forum.
I had a short in the wires leading to the #4 coil. When it shorted, it caused a small fire, but also burned out the Computer. Ok... Rewired, replaced the computer, still no spark on any cylinder. More testing, and found that the crankshaft position sensor only read about 100 ohms, and replaced that. Everything else seems to check out fine, but still not getting any power to the coils.
anyone got any suggestions?

Links are helpful, but gwarsco you can find the manuals in the M42 Reference section.
As for checking the relays your best bet is to swap them with known good ones. If you don't have access to good ones there are some tests you can run that are outlined in the Bentley manual (you can find those to download in the reference section too). The tests are also covered on this forum but that information is slightly disorganized and hard to find. But you can try searching or downloading the Bentley.
