Title: Does anyone have a head stud removal socket I can rent?

I need to borrow this for the extraction and instillation of my head. If I can borrow it, I will pay to get it to me and even kick you down a $10 bill. I could not find this in the loaner tool thread.

Are you talking about an external Torx socket?  If so, you can pick up an entire set of these at Sears or a car parts place for about $15.  The sockets will have a number like E8, E15, etc.

Noooo! Are you 100% sure the sears socket will fit down in the spaces? I bought a regular socket and it wouldn't fit due to the socket wall being too thick.

To remove the bolts you can use a deep 10mm. It'll fit and give you plenty of leverage to get it off.  Go on ebay and get the right tool for the install as that is more critical. Make sure you remove the head bolts in the right order.

I have the socket. Hit me up if you really want to do an exchange and I can mail it. But it's only maybe $20 on ebay.
