Post by: Crunk3 on January 15, 2009, 08:49:37 PM
Started happening a little while ago but thought nothing of it till someone today told me it didn't sound right.
sounds almost like a popping sound i guess
Here is a video
It increases with engine speed and is still heard when engine is cold or warm

almost sounds like air getting through the spark plug, did you check them.  has the timing chain tensioner been changed?

I just tightened my spark plugs but one was kinda loose so when i was tightening it it would almost get tight then it would would go loose again
so i tightened it as much as possible and the sound stopped

if it is getting loose after tightening it, then your plug hole is stripped and that is very bad. prob need a fix for that
