Title: 318is hood problem

The hood in my old 318is will not pop open from the handle, any suggestions to manually pop the hood?  I need to open it so I can check fluids. Thanks!

you can open it through the drivers side grille with a long flat head screwdriver... It has to be about 8" long. Find the latch hole, stick the screwdriver and turn a 1/4 turn...and viola!
