Title: fog light lense

are the fog light lense's available only, for 91 318 or do I need to buy the whole units, mine both have holes

Separate lens don't exist, you have to change to whole fog light.

Right - there are replacement acrylic lenses available, but not glass.

I remember there was a large discussion about bmwlight.com. Do they actually deliver?

A few companies also make lense protectors (like the clear film you put over a cell phone screen to protect it) that goes over the glass lenses to prevent cracking and breaking.
At the same time, the plastic 3rd party unit's are just as good I am told and are not made of glass.

FWIW, I do have the bmwlights.com plastic lenses and I like them. I also added the clear film over them to reduce pitting.

you can buy the lenses on Ebay too, that way you can file with paypal easily if he doesn't deliver.

is there a company that makes a protective clear wrap or coating to put onto the fogs to protect the glass from becoming overly pitted due to road debris?
