I think it would be cool if we set up groups in the forum.  We can have groups for different colours, or common mods (ie lowered club vs stock height club), It would be an easy way to keep track of distribution and percentages of different stuff

I hope that was understandable

in other words we can have a brilliantrot club and a d-schwartz club, or other colors and we can actually tell who is "for the win" ( I hate that phrase deep down inside)

well then i woudl like to call together the Alpineweiss guys out there... we need a name!  Alpineweiss Gruppe? Alpineweiss Syndicate?
ooh and we need another group.... Stock BBS Rockers. okay the name is lame but the idea is good, for those of us who rock the stockers.

Agreed, for the moment we are not a large enough organization that groups of that sort would be necessary.

Now, we CAN do polls.  We have discussion sections that cover prettymuch all the moddable areas: engine, driveline, suspension, body, and electrical.  We could do a per-area poll of mods and paint color.  Within the General Discussion area we could also do a production date poll (month & year).  I realize polls are not quite as individual as a group membership, but for now everyone DOES have the choice to have an entire thread about them & their vehicle in the Profiles section.

We could also create a new section on here, under the FAQ/Reference group, with statistics.  These polls could be conducted/moved there.  It would be a valuable resource to us in seeing what most people are putting on their cars.  Having a database of production daes would be very informative as well.  We could even go as far as to have a 318iS registry, and try to garner participation from around the world through the internet.  Just an idea, but I will work on getting this idea made into something useful.

Actually, this brings up some of my views, and being goal-oriented and enjoying being a part of influential things, I am going to get another thread going in here.  I guess I will call it an executive address of sorts.

For us dro-top folks, how about the "M42 Cabrio Crew", that's got a nice ring to it.  I can't think of anything that goes with Lagunengrün though.
