Title: Changing Headlight Bulbs?
Post by: Interlocker on June 21, 2006, 05:56:34 PM
Two weeks of ownership and I finally have to do something to it... change one of the headlight (low beam) bulbs.

The owner's manual makes it look as though I have to remove the front grills?  Is this all pretty straight forward and intuitive once I pop the hood and start poking around?

Thanks

Whatever came to the U.S. from the factory.  ;)  They don't have the smile, if that helps.

Is the bulb removable form the back, or is the back all glass with 3 prongs sticking out?

sounds like you have the sealed beams.  Those are the stock headlights for a 318is.  You will have to take the grill off to change them but I HIGHLY recommend switching to either euro or us ellips.
