Does anyone here have billy sports installed that drives the car in temperatures under 0 Celsius (32 Fahrenheit)? I was talking to a guy today who was complaining that the shocks are really stiff now that the temperature has dropped here and he wants to put his stock setup back on now. He drives a 318i with Bilstein sports and Bavauto springs.

The springs are going to contribute to the stiffness a lot more than the shocks. I've never heard of anyone having issues in cold climates.
-
I've got a bilstein PSS9 System on my 318is and have never had a prob. Ive even been in the snow and they've never stiffend up or anything.
-
Thanks for the input. My guess is it is his summer tires giving him the rough ride as they get extremely hard as the temperature drops.

Summers should be swapped out for winter/all-seasons when avg. daytime temps reach 45 F. I had H&R springs and Bilstein Sports on my Audi and up here in the snow belt, I had no stiffness issues.

I just installed a set of Eibach springs (Pro Kit) and Bilstein Sport shox/strutz.
I am quite pleased with handling and ride quality.
Have had a few cold days here in Idaho, nice and quiet.

yes, this is just a heads up to all you ugg boot lover's - in the run up to christmas last year the whole world ran out of http://www.cheapuggboots.org (excluding manmade fiber nasty ugg boots from china) this year’s demand seems to be on track to produce the same situation. If you are looking to get hold of some uggs, from us or anyone else, this winter get in early to avoid disappointment. If you already know you're in love, you might want to check out my top picks in ugg shoes and boots or find a deal at one of these ugg outlets: Cheap ugg boots here for you.

i have a problem with my stock suspension on my 318is. My front left shock seizes up totally solid in below freezing weather. It is super annoying because there is no suspension travel at all, it holds the suspension absolutely solidly, and only the tire provides any sort of shock absorption. I have no idea why this is, and i am saving as fast as i can for Bilstein sports and H&R Races.

I'll have some worn-out stock struts that'll fix that problem right up for you. My car feels a bit like a boat with them...
I'm saving up for an overhaul too, but maybe it'll be softer BavAuto springs for me.
