gots lots planned such as, cc rollcage, sparco evo buckets/4points, Bilstein B12's (developed on the ring, and designed for every single application), ireland engineering mouts, H&R sway bars, powerflex eccentric's, M3 cab X brace, light weight 15" rims etc etc
iv got a brands hatch track day on the 3rd of november, so that gives me time to get some of the chassis sorted ;)

really cool CAI....got photos of the filter side?
-
hai!
pics of filter side?
you make my alpine 318is look like shit lol :D
-
nice ride!
2 questions:
1) what is the extra "bottle" next to your windshield washer resevoir?
2) what is the "Laserline" box on your driver's side inner fender?
-
thanks lads, the extra bottle is a seperate washer tank for the headlight washers (must of been an optional extra) hence why there is headlight wipers aswel ;)
the laserline box is a crappy alarm that does'nt work lol, so i will be ripping that out and installing a decent one.
the Intake utilizes a K&N end filter, (pics are a bit dogey lol)

I like your work on the M42 so far. Looks like you have a great starting point - keep the bumpers body colored on this one ;).
Where did you find the steering rack guibo? And what is the material?
-
yep body is staying the same. steering rack Guibo's click the link dude - http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=111250
he has run out but is getting some more made up, best to pm him first to see if he ships to the states
cheers for the comments... big update soon
-
whacked on me beloved sweade 320mm steering wheel the other day, much better, it does'nt feel like driving a lorry now lol
(http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s11/joshpologt/smallpicwheel.jpg)
all the bushes have arrived apart from the poly diff bush (should arrive monday) then it will be all hands on deck !!! ;) then will be on the 4 wheel algiment for the geomatry to be setup (adding neg camber)
after that i think its weight reduction time, Safety devices cage, and find some suitable buckets (opting for sparco's which is what i had in my polo and loved them)
not much else to report at the moment in time
-
update - propshaft is back fully rebuilt.
rear axle is fully powerflex'ed up with the race outer's and the street inner's, also steam cleaned and undersealed it.. all that is left to do is the Diff bush (still fcuking waiting!)

just playing a waiting game at the moment for one item
-
the extra bottle is a seperate washer tank for the headlight washers (must of been an optional extra) hence why there is headlight wipers aswel
Was mandatory item in Finland & Sweden during the time our cars were new. Factory offered this as an option for example to UK.
-
update got a brand new Safety Devices rear cage, with removable diaganol coming from Munich Legends (down the road from where i live)
i am going to add to it at a later date i.s door bars/front section
-
right moving on, my mate is a pro audio guy (pm me if you need anything done), so i got him out today, to do me an alarm system - pukka... so at least i will still have the car by the time it is finished lol a white bmw is crying out to be stolen.
also trail fitted the SD rollcage today, fits Perfect, (took about 10 mins to get it in) it is not bolted in yet, because i am going to be re-routing some of the wires and looming them up and making it look alot more neater, also going to respray some of the bare metal that is on show as it is scratched in places.
