Title: Request: All hoses under intake manifold..
Post by: Jtuner on September 23, 2008, 08:08:34 PM
Does anyone know lengths, sizes, etc etc for all the pcv hoses under our intake manifolds? I know there's realoem numbers for them, but I'm sure damn old hoses from the parts store will suffice... I'm about to replace my intake manifold gaskets, and install the 19# injectors, and might as well replace everything I can.. Thanks guys

they are bent a certain way, 4 ways out, and a metal tube goes threw two of them. i dont really thing you can just replace them with the hose at auto zone or w/e. only place i found that has them is that bma auto parts that have ads on this site.( 10 bucks each for the weird shaped ones , then 16 for the idle control one i think ) you might get away with a auto zone tube for the idle control valve, but thats about it.

If you remove the TB heater then you can use parts from any autoparts store. For most of the hoses a 5/8 hoses will suffice with hose clamps. I'm sure you can reuse atleast some of the hoses as some of them don't crack as easy as others. IF you replace the hoses between the ICV and intake manifold, make sure it is very stiff, as a regular coolant line type of hose will suck shut under vacuum. I used a piece of marine grade water hose that I bought at West Marine.
