Anyone know anything at all about this engine? I've never come across one or even heard of their existence til yesterday. Also are there any other ready made tuned M42/M44 motors out there other than MM built ones and the elusive S42?

Nice and helpful there, thanks... I know this isn't an actual engine and just an empty block with a pretty rocker cover, I was more interested in the bore/stroke and head specs of the REAL Hartge 2.1, if such a thing exists or if there are any other pre-built performance M42s?

Found some, might be of interest to some other people. 2.3 litres with 190bhp sounds awesome!
