Car decided to blow the diff after i just replaced the CV axles and driveshaft. I was on a slope and pulled out into the street and CLUNK CLUNK GRIND GRIND. Car started to vibrate and and bind up so i parked it out in BFE than Flat-bedded that shit home.
Tonight I dropped the drain plug on the diff and pulled out a couple solid metal teeth.
I'll post pics once i crack the case! 240k on the LSD and BOOOOOOOOM GERNADED!
I found myself a new 4.10 LSD medium case out of a 325iA for 150 local! Gonna go pick it up tomorrow and hopefully have it installed for the beach trip this weekend.

Sucks. If the new medium case LSD doesn't have a solid bushing (M3 style), pretty much every pre 88 eta will. You can just pull the whole diff cover at the JY. Good luck.

holy steal of a freaking deal you got.

This darn near happened to my E36 LSD. I caught it before it happened though.
So I went with the Metric Mechanic 3.45 Rally Variable LSD. :D
You should too! :)
