Will E36 tanks fit in my 318is??
I am geussing I could pull a tank from most of the E30's correct?
ie: 318i, 318is (obviously), 325i, 325is
I don't know about the convertables though, and I will just stay clear of any ti's or ix's (most likely won't find one to steal from anyways..)
I know of a couple E36's I could steel a tank from that's why I ask.
Plus I don't want to drop 500+ dollars on a new one, IF I could even find a new one...

Some years ago, I bought one for my 325i from NBGastanks.com. At the time it was about $200 shipped. I think they are higher now, but probably well under the $500.
The website they used to run seems to be taken down, but the contact info is in this thread.

I just called them (it's saturday though), and got an answering machine. So I left a message, and I'll call them back monday.
Atleast I know they are in business! now I gotta hope they have my tank...

Shipping he said would be around 50-60 bucks. That's really really good.

I think I'd get hit with a $100+ fee for the border crossing....

I don't really have the time to search for a different style tank. Plus I am trying to keep weight down, so a larger tank would go against my build plan.
