Title: Headlight break down...
Post by: KyleTaylor on August 08, 2008, 07:59:13 AM
So the Euro and H4 conversions seem to be the best lighting options.  I have had the Euros before and they were amazing.

They blow the sealed beam pos headlights away, but how do the compare to US ellips?  I know about the beam pattern, and I will have HIDs.

Will US ellips serve well enough, or should I hold out for Euros?

BTW, I have sealed beams right now so ANYthing is an upgrade.

Switching from sealed to ANYTHING is going to give you dramatic improvements.

I think that US ellips are fine if you use the high beam bulbs in the low beam housings. The low beam bulbs have a black paint on the tips that blocks some forward light. High beam bulbs are the same but without the black tips.

Euros have slightly wider pattern from what I read.

I just did the switch, super easy to do and looks way better.
