Title: Slight stumble when accelerating slowly
Post by: SonomaGTLN2 on August 07, 2008, 09:12:18 PM
Hey guys,
I've been putting miles on my car to shake it down after doing the motor swap and i've noticed it stumbles a little bit for a second or two after i upshift if i am accelerating slowly.  If I get into it a little bit though, it does not stumble.  Motor is out of a 91 318iS.  Any suggestions? Fuel pump is out of an E30 325i and I redid the fuel lines, etc. I plan on cleaning the AFM and running injector cleaner, but it seems like this would be more consistent if it were dirty injectors. Plugs look clean, but indicate a slight lean condition. Idles fine. Also have a fairly open side-exit exhaust right now which will soon be a full exhaust out the back...

Other than that this car is a total joy to drive now!
