Title: Door lock
Post by: EN318isPDX on August 06, 2008, 03:49:34 PM
I went to lock my drivers side door and when i pulled my key out the entire lock cylinder came out and i hear a thump inside my door.. pulled my door apart and found that my door lock had fallen out. I am thinking that it was one piece and now is too.. Gonna dig more into it after work.. has anyone had issues with there door locks?

I went keyless years ago - precisely because my door lock was getting a bit stiff and I didn't want to futz with it.

Ya i will most likely being going keyless very soon! i do plan on buying the pelican door lock repair kit and see how it works out. Looks like it "redesigns" the lock hammer. If i don't want to buy keyless entry online where should i go? I'm gonna hussle with car toys and baxters and see if i can get a cheapish keyless entry

If you go to bmw security they will refer you to-- I think its united audio
or united security they make a nice security system with keyless ,motion, glass break and impact sensors. Mine works great
