Title: m3 head on m42????

does any one know if the e30 m3 head on a m42? or could i put m3 cams in the m42 or is it not worth it. i was thinking of putting a m3 head and throtle body,inj, and if i have to the ecu i would think it would have to have the ecu wouldnt it? tell me wat you guys think if its not worth it just tell me. thanks for the info i just want to add some HP and dont know much about a turbo to do it or i would. wat all do you need to do a turbo? would it be better than wat i was thinking?? thanks

No it doesn't fit, wrong cylinder c-c distance.

Well a turbo will work, but there are a lot of parts to touch.  As stated above, the M3 head or cams will not work as the cylinder bore pitch (distance between the cylinder centers) is different.

the s14 m3 head and cams doesnt fit... a proper head job and some wild cams are good for some hp.. 20-30hp ?
