Ok so my brakes started acting really bad and the pedal became really soft they would randomly cut out completely then come back. There is no loss of fluid at all.l I thought it might be the master cylinder so i replaced that and the problem has actually gotten worse. The pedal will drop to the floor and if you pump it once it stiffens up a ton and the brakes seem to work fine then it slowly gets sh***y again. My rotors and bads are barely worn out at all so i don't think they have anything to do with it. I think i may have gotten a bad master cylinder there is still no loss of fluid. I also bled the brakes about 3 times 2 manually and once on a power bleeder. any input would be great. i really don't want to take it to a shop since i'm poor and can do most of the work myself anyway. Its starting to drive me nuts i've missed two of my local auto x's figures this happens during the auto x season and not in the winter when i have nothing better to do then work on my car.

Really sounds like a bad master cylinder but since you already replaced it i'm guessing its your vacuum booster...

yea i'm going to screw around with it tomrrow actually today and see if its the booster i highly doubt it though since it feels basically the same as the original mc that i replaced. I guess i could of got a bad one serves me right with going with the cheapest one i could find on the web. It is the same brand that auto zone and advanced auto sells. I got it from autopartsgiant.com. They are starting to really piss me off i have called and left messages and sent emails and have got no replies. its been like three weeks its time to get nasty. I am going to just report them to paypal or my credit card company. I've had my friend who is a benz tech and a bimmer head check it out and he thinks the mc is bad. I also went to another local european car specialist who i actually bought the car off of he agrees with me on the bad mc. I'm just bummed that i've missed 3 auto x's over this crap.

I hear you man, I've learned the hard way when dealing with autozone and the like. Maybe with all of the 24V swaps over at r3v, and many guys using the 25mm MC, you might be able to find a good working stock one for fairly cheap. Goodluck.
