My web site has been updated and is now in the form of a Wiki...
318is wiki (http://www.motortraders.net.au/groups/318is/)
...a collection of information I have gathered for the E30 318is including some brochures and road tests.

have you guys ever used http://www.fcpgroton.com? they mostly sell old skool volvo parts, but started selling E30 stuff too. mostly maintenance stuff and front end parts and brakes. When i used to get parts for my Volvo 740 they were honestly the cheapest i could find. Their customer service is very good and shipping is very prompt. check em out.

hey i just noticed that "metric mechanic's" link just says "built engines" when its their transmissions that put them on the map back in the early '80's.

ps, they make a transmision for our car that has a more usefull first gear, and fifth is a super overdrive so the car is quiet on the freeway.....pretty cool if you ask me.

http://www.realpages.com/sites/finishline/index.html (http://www.realpages.com/sites/finishline/index.html) Contact these guys for Astonishingly priced OEM parts that are straight out of Europe. No online catalog but just call and ask for "Tony Pita". I've gotten tons of parts from these guys and just an example is a Behr radiator for $115 new.

I get all of my parts from
http://www.bavauto.com.
1-800-535-2002  Great # don't you think?
I can't say enough about them.  Mike and Aaron are the best people to talk to if you need e30 or M42 help.  They are located in New Hampshire and it takes 1-5 business days to get parts from where you live.  They can always help and get me out of sticky situations.

germanautoparts.com has a decent selection and pretty good pricing from what i've seen looked up so far.  they just started carrying a lot more bmw parts than i remember from last year.  i've used them a lot for vw parts over the past few years.
